For this t-shirt, I wanted something to encourage women, including myself, and that's why I chose this quote, Act Like a Lady Think Like a Boss. It reminds me of something my Mother would have said to me and even though my Mom passed away when I was younger, she was always a Lady. a very smart one, so this seemed more than fitting.
The T-shirt and Heat Transfer Vinyl are both from Happy Crafter's. I chose the t-shirt in Charcoal Gray *This particular T-shirt is very comfortable with a nice soft hand. I ordered a larger size than I normally wear because I'm used to the cheapie t-shirts I usually buy for crafting running small but I would say that these are very true to size.
HTV Vinyl (one of each) Bling Frosting and Cloud White
I wanted the word Boss to stand out in a sparkly way and to do this I used the cloud white for the main part of the quote and Bling Frosting (but any color glittery metallic would work!) for the word Boss.
It's important to remember that once you have your design uploaded and ready to go in Cricut Access, before cutting, use the mirror image option AND put the shiny side of the iron-on vinyl facing down on the mat. I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten one or the other of these two steps and wasted vinyl. grrrr!
Also, follow the directions for the vinyl you're using to get proper adhesion to your shirt.
I've made shirts for my sons and wash after wash after wash they hold up beautifully.
And that's it! I hope you enjoyed this month's challenge (you can see some of my other Cricut posts here) and be sure to check out all of the other awesome T-shirt creations and enter the giveaway below.
